1st time for everything.

Arrived today at the roadie house. It was kind of awkard getting to a big house. and the door being open, and not know whether to go in or what... but I did with my beautiful girlfriend. So it was all good. Everyone is super friendly and warm. It is nice just to be around people that all have super genuine hearts and just really open for whatever. 

We hung out at the house while other roadies were arriving, it was good,  worked on the random people conversation skills. haha. But yes it was still fun. We went over some ground rules for the house and next couple of months...

Then we went off to La Jolla, it was hard to find cheap food there. Es no bueno. we found some but it tasted kinda cheap which is never good with food. then we went to auditorium where 2 of the 3 filmmakers from Invisible Children were, they explained some stuff, we got a talk from a girl from Uganda, it was reallly cool. she seemed really happy to be here inn the US going to school because of a scholarship. We watched a film with some good parallels to us and we went home.

went grocery shopping for myself. not good. end of story. ha.

but its been a good day, and im sure this is where God wants me.

its weird that this day finally came after so much anticipation. its only been 1 day, but i can already tell that im going to miss people. just knowing that you wont see people makes you miss them even tho is hasnt be that long.
